The celebration of yoga unfolded over two inspiring days, as Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy District Yoga Association and Yoga Association of Medchal district joined hands with Aurora Group of Institutions to host the 12th Telangana State Level Inter District Yogasana Championships on 29th and 30th November, 2025. This grand gathering brought together passionate young yogis and dedicated, spirited students from across Telangana, all united by the pursuit of wellness and inner harmony.
The event opened with a mesmerising traditional spiritual dance, setting a serene yet powerful tone that resonated with every heart present. The Honourable Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly, Shri Gaddam Prasad Kumar graced the event as the Chief Guest and deliberated on the Role of Yoga in the physical and psychological well-being of the people. Dr Ramesh Nimmatoori, the Secretary, Aurora Group of Institutions, captivated the audience with a profound exploration of the seven chakras, highlighting how their alignment helps in maintaining physical health along with mental clarity and emotional balance, the key ingredients for nurturing a confident and positive mindset among the youth. Over two days, participants showcased their dedication through dynamic yogasana performances, engaging in enlightening discussions on the holistic benefits of yoga.
This championship was a flare of inspiration, encouraging Telangana’s youth and officials alike to weave yoga into their daily lives. As the event drew to a close, a renewed spirit of discipline, peace and well-being blossomed for a healthier, harmonious Telangana tomorrow.
