Soft skills are the intangible assets that shape character, influence relationships and promote a positive work environment. Employers are highly emphasising soft skills and life skills that enable individuals to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, adapt to change and demonstrate leadership qualities. The Training and Placement cell organised a workshop on 29th October 2025, aimed to introduce the newly joined MBA and MCA freshers to the Soft Skills Program in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation, as an initiative towards transcending technical knowledge and academic excellence.
The Reliance Foundation team delivered an inspiring session on how soft skills can dramatically impact an individual’s trajectory. They shared real-life examples of professionals who leveraged their interpersonal skills to overcome challenges, lead teams and innovate. Students were encouraged to engage in activities such as debates, group discussions, presentations and community service to hone these skills. The program concluded with a call to action for students to work on their soft skills along with their academic pursuits.
