Monitoring & Evaluation Committee

Creation of the Committee

AURORA believes in moving towards excellence in quality of education by imparting knowledge which is relevant, keeping with the times and which is application oriented. With this view the Monitoring & Evaluation Committee (MEC) is constituted to design, review and advice on all matters relating to the contents and educational process, keeping the global perspective in view. The sole purpose of MEC is to provide a strategic foundation for the Aurora’s Academic Plan.


Objectives

  • To restructure, review, and monitor the educational process of the MBA and MCA course
  • To ensure that the add-on courses not only remains competitive, but also relevant to the present context.
  • To take consistent efforts to blend the industry expectation and academic curriculum
  • To introduce innovative and creative ways in imparting knowledge and skill sets to promote academic excellence
  • To ensure overall grooming of entrepreneurial and managerial skill sets of the students

Selection procedures

The faculty gives their choice for acting as coordinators in the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee. Based on the choice given by the faculty, the College Academic Committee and in consultation with Heads of the Departments select the coordinators.

  • Preparation of Question banks
  • Information to departments and parents.
  • Result analysis.
  • Identification of toppers.
  • Verification of internal marks statements.
  • Monitoring of student counseling activities.
  • Monitoring of placement and training activities.
  • Monitoring of NSS activities.
  • Make suggestions to the College Academic Committee on measures for students improvement
