Foundation Day is a significant event for any institution as it marks the establishment and celebrates its history, achievements, and contributions to education. The celebrations at Aroop - Cultural Club was a very memorable event, bringing together alumni, staff, and students to honor the institution's legacy. The Group Aurora commenced its noble journey in 1989 on the day of Vasantha Panchami, the birth tithi of Goddess Saraswathi, the Deity of Knowledge and Wisdom. The celebrations began with a traditional Saraswathi Pooja, where the faculty, staff and students gathered to seek blessings for the success of the institution and the incumbents; by lighting the traditional lamp and performing the holy rituals.
The Director Dr Madhavi highlighted the journey of Aurora Group and elaborated on the mile stones reached since inception. She has pondered on the history and growth of Aurora’s Post Graduate College and informed the participants about the impressive journey of the institution since its beginning in 1995. The cultural programs showcased an array of beautiful performances by students, reflecting their talents and creativity. From dance to music, each act was met with enthusiastic applause, creating an atmosphere of joy and companionship. The involvement of alumni added a special touch, as they shared their experiences and insights, inspiring current students to embrace upon their academic journey with the institution.
The Foundation Day celebrations by Aroop was a delightful occasion that left lasting memories for all involved which strengthened the bond between the institution and its stakeholders, encouraging support for future initiatives and reinforcing pride in being part of the institution’s journey.
