The Social Service Cell of the Institution organised a blood donation camp in association with Lions Club, on 26 th November, 2024 with an aim to promote awareness on the importance of blood donation and to contribute blood to save the lives of the needy. The initiative is aligned with the institution’s mission to foster social responsibility among its students and staff. The camp encouraged voluntary blood donation and instilled a sense of community service among the students. The donated units are intended to be utilised for Thalassemia patients, patients with surgical blood requirements and trauma victims who may need blood in emergency medical conditions. The students, faculty and administrative staff participated in the camp and donated around 70 units of Blood. The Lions Club presented a certificate of appreciation in recognition of the efforts of the Social Service Cell.
