Agenda:

  • To review the action initiated on the resolutions taken in the earlier meeting.
  • To discuss about the Workshop conducted in the area of Finance.
  • To inform about the CRT conducted for final year MBA students.
  • To discuss about Anveshana Management Meet and International Women’s Day Celebrations
  • To discuss about MOU with Yi
  • To discuss about the certificate programs

 

Discussions:

The meeting commenced with the presentation of action taken report by IQAC Coordinator Dr. P. Hima Jagathi. She informed the cell members that as a certificate programs a 4 week workshop on Tally has been conducted for MBA students from 11th Feb 2019 to 23rd March 2019 and a 4 weeks certificate program on project management has been started for MBA students on 1st March 2019 to be continued till 6th April 2019. She further informed that a 6 week workshop on Network Security Tools and Best Practices will be conducted in the next month.

  • The Chairperson Dr. M. Madhavi discussed with the cell members that the training and placement cell of institution has conducted a Campus Recruitment Training Program for MBA final year students from 26th February, 2019 to 12th March, 2019. The training session was carried out for 60 hours in the institution with the association of ProEdge Skill Development and Edutech Pvt Ltd. She further opined that this CRT program would help the students for campus placements.
  • Mr. Ch. Satish Kumar has informed the members that the Department of MBA has organized a Management Meet – Anveshana on 29th and 30th March, 2019 and also the finance club of the college has conducted a workshop on “Micro Analysis of Financial Statements” for the students of finance specialization on 12th March 2019. He informed them that 120 students have participated in the workshop. He informed that the internal exams were conducted for MBA and MCA students in accordance with new reforms, i.e. Blooms’ Taxonomy.
  • Mr. G. M. Joshi appreciated the active participation of the students in the workshop and suggested the institution to conduct such programs for MCA students. Therefore, students will be acquainted with knowledge required by the industry.
  • Ms P. Saritha has informed the IQAC members they are planning to conduct a training programme on C language. She also informed them that International Women’s Day was celebrated from 5th March 2019 to 8th March 2019. As a part of the celebrations, various competitions were conducted for teaching, non-teaching staff and students.
  • Dr. Md. Layaq Ahmed, Professor informed that the both the MBA and MCA students were for summer internship to get practical experience and he also expressed the need for organizing an awareness program on Entrepreneurship for students to inculcate entrepreneurial skills. He further informed them that an industrial visit was organized to Vijaya Milk Products was organised on 6th March, 2019.
  • Mr. Joshi, suggested to arrange Board of Governors Meeting in the next month in order to plan for next academic year.
  • Mr. G. Naresh requested the cell members to conduct orientation program on specializations for MBA students which will help them to choose their specializations.
  • Mr. P.Somaiah has suggested to organize an elocution competition as a part of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanthi Celebrations.

 

Resolutions:

  • To conduct a training on C language for MCA students
  • To is resolved to organize Board of Governors Meeting in the next month
  • It is decided to organize an awareness program on Entrepreneurship
  • It is resolved to renew the MOU with Yi for the forth coming academic year
  • It is resolved to conduct an Orientation program on specializations for MBA students is to be conducted on 4th April
  • To arrange awareness program on Internship Opportunities in the next month
  • It is decided to conduct a 6 week workshop on Network Security Tools and Best Practices in the next month

The meeting concluded with Vote of thanks proposed by IQAC Coordinator.
