Agenda:
- To review the action initiated on the resolutions taken in the earlier meeting.
- To exchange the ideas on preparation and progress of academic planning for forthcoming semesters.
- To review the progress of internal evaluation reforms.
- To discuss about rejoining of faculty members in Learning Management System - Edmodo for forthcoming semesters.
- To pursue the registration of faculty members in FDPs offered by NPTEL
- To design CRT program for MBA IV semester students.
- To discuss about certificate programs
Discussions:
- Dr. P. Hima Jagathi, initiated the meeting with a welcome note and presented the agenda of the meeting for discussion. She informed the cell members that a 4 week certificate program on GST for MBA students and a 6 week Training Program on Web Interfaces for MCA students will be conducted in the month of February.
- The Chairperson expressed her satisfaction regarding enthusiastic participation of students in the second edition of live telecast on “Pariksha Pe Charcha” arranged by IQAC in the Seminar Hall on 29th January 2019.
- She also informed the cell members that many faculty members have registered in FDPs offered by NPTEL in various subject areas.
- As a part of Learning Management System, the faculty members have rejoined in EDMODO and given assignments to students.
- Dr. Ramesh B Nimmatoori, suggested to enter into MOUs with various organizations which can provide training and internships to students.
- HODs informed that the academic calendars of HOD, Cells, Committees and Clubs are completed. They informed that the student academic manuals are distributed to the students.
- Mr. Ch. Satish Kumar Head, Department of Management and Ms. P. Saritha, Head, Department of Computer Applications informed cell members that all the faculty members have revised the internal question banks in accordance with Bloom’s Taxonomy System.
- Dr. Md. Layaq Ahmed also informed that a guest lecture on Digital Marketing was organized on 23rd January to create awareness among students about job opportunities available in the field of marketing.
- Ms. P. Saritha highlighted the enthusiastic participation of students in Blood Donation Camp organized by the college in collaboration with DHYUTI foundation. She also emphasized on social service programs organized by the institute which include Dental and Eye Checkup Camp, observation of National Youth Day and National Voters Day.
- Mr. P. Somaiah, reminded about the renewal of DELNET and NDL to be done in the month of Febraury. He also emphasized on the need for more e-books and e-journals in the library.
- Mr.G. M. Joshi opined that the students need to be provided with Campus Recruitment Training to enhance their logical, reasoning and aptitude skills. he also suggested to organize more guest lectures.
- Mr. M. Rama Rao informed cell members that the institution has entered into MOU with Green Stakes Recycling Solution LLP on 22nd January 2019.
- Mr. G. Naresh, suggested to organize Alumni meet for the academic year 2018-19.
Resolutions:
- Cell members have decided to enter into MOUs with organizations that offer job oriented training to students.
- It is resolved to conduct CRT program for students to enhance their interview skills in the next month
- To organize Alumni meet in the third week of the February, 2019
- It is resolved to conduct a 4 week certificate program on GST for MBA students a Training Program on Web Interfaces for 6 weeks for MCA students will be conducted in the month of February.
- It is resolved to organize more guest lectures in the coming months
