Agenda:
- To review the actions initiated on the resolutions taken in the earlier meeting.
- To discuss about the allocation of work load for the forthcoming semester
- To discuss about project course work for the forth coming semester
- To discuss about orientation on Specializations for MBA students
- To discuss about organizing International Yoga Day
Discussions:
- The meeting started with a welcome note by Prof. P. Hima Jagathi, IQAC Coordinator with a brief note on the action taken report on the decision of the IQAC meeting held in the last month to the cell members. She also informed the cell members regarding the preparation MBA I and III semesters Handbooks.
- The Chairperson Dr. M. Madhavi highlighted that more than 20 faculty members had successfully completed NPTEL certification courses in different areas. She also informed that faculty had also attended FDP programs organized by other institutes.
- Mr.Ch.Satish Kumar informed the cell members regarding the project course work for the forthcoming semester. He also mentioned that external viva was conducted smoothly on 21.06.2019 for the final year MBA students.
- Ms.P.Saritha, informed the cell members that faculty are actively engaged in using innovative TLM like audio visual methods, case study, role play and also LMS Edmodo for posting lecture notes, assignments etc.
- Md. Layaq Ahmed informed the cell members that guest lecture on ‘Multimedia Industry Career opportunities’ was organized on 14.06.2019. He also mentioned that an orientation session on MBA Specializations and their relevance in the industry was conducted for I year students.
- As a part of observing International Yoga Day an interactive session on Yoga and its benefits by Yoga Expert for the health and well being of the students and staff was organized on 21.06.2019.
- Mr. G.M.Joshi, opined that the students need to be provided with awareness on latest developments in the industry and the corresponding career opportunities. He also suggested for preparing the plan of action on different activities to be taken up by the training and placement cell for the next academic year.
Resolutions:
- It is resolved to collect the project permission letters from MBA III semester students
- It is resolved to finalize the project work to be done by the final year students
- It is resolved to conduct guest lectures on career opportunities to the students
- It is resolved collect student data base by the training and placement cell
The meeting concluded with Vote of thanks proposed by IQAC Coordinator.
