Agenda:
- To review the action initiated on the resolutions taken in the earlier meeting.
- To inform about new MOUs signed by the college
- To inform about renewal of DELNET and NDL
- To discuss about the Alumni Meet organized on 16th February 2019
- To discuss about International Women’s Day Celebrations
- To discuss about the certificate Programs
Discussions:
- The meeting commenced with the presentation of welcome note by IQAC Coordinator Dr. P. Hima Jagathi. She informed them the Alumni meet conducted on 16th February, 2019 and around 120 alumni working in various companies attended the and interacted with students. She also informed that a 4 week certificate program on GST has been conducted for MBA students from 4th February to 28th February 2019 and a Training Program on Web Interfaces for 6 weeks has been conducted for MCA students from 28th Jan 2019 to 20th Feb 2019. She further informed that a 4 week certificate program on Tally has been initiated on 11th February 2019. A 6 week Workshop on Network Security tools & Best Practices and a 4 week certificate program on Project Management will be conducted in the month of March.
- The Chairperson Dr. M. Madhavi notified cell members that the institution has entered into agreement with Armstrong Tyres Pty Ltd. on 1st February 2019 and SIFT Market Research Organization on 5th February 2019, provide training and internships to students. Further, she informed the cell members that International Women’s Day will be celebrated on 8th March 2018, inviting eminent guests from various fields to address the faculty and students on Women related Health and Career issues.
- Ms P. Saritha invited suggestions in conducting various programs for International Women’s Day celebrations. The cell members suggested programs like child mortality, BMI maintenance, health and hygiene and women empowerment should be organized. They also suggested that various competitions like chess, caroms, poster presentations should be conducted for women students and faculty on the occasion.
- Mr. Ch. Satish Kumar informed the cell members that a 60 hours CRT program has been initiated for MBA final year students on 26th February 2019. He also proposed to organize management meet – Anveshana for the academic year 2018-19.
- Mr. G. M. Joshi opined that there is a need to organize a workshop by inviting subject experts and experienced professionals in the field of finance to expose the students to present business environment. He also advised to plan for a Industrial Visit.
- Mr. P.Somaiah briefed the participants that many faculty members and students are using DELNET and NDL to access e-books and research articles.
- Mr. M. Rama Rao acknowledged the cell members that the Green Stakes Recycling Company is clearing the organic waste efficiently.
- The cell members opined that the internal exams should be conducted for MBA and MCA students in accordance with new reforms.
Resolutions:
- To conduct a workshop on finance for MBA students in the next month
- It is decided to organize Management Meet in the month of March
- It is resolved to organize an industrial visit
- It is reconciled to conduct internal exams in accordance with new reforms
- It is resolved to organize International Women’s Day celebrations
- It is resolved to conduct a 6 week Workshop on Network Security tools & Best Practices and a 4 week certificate program on Project Management in the month of March
The meeting concluded with Vote of thanks proposed by IQAC Coordinator.
